The Long Halloween

The Long Halloween is one of my favorite Batman comics of all time. The plot was amazing and I loved how the Jokers design looked " sloppy ". It was filled with a great origin ( which belonged to Harvey Dent ) and great villains such as Solomon Grundy, The Joker, The Penguin and The killer Holiday.
So do any of you like this comic as well?

I absolutely love it . Espacially Tim Sales art . I just love the way he portrays Batman as this really powerfull , demonic , yet human figure .He fixed the greatest flaw Batman artist today have in their art , Batman ears are waaay too short nowdays .
The only flaw I see in this book is the fact that Jeph Loeb tried to ruin the plot in the end . We get such a fine conclusion why the murderer did all those crimes , it fits the overall plot and theme so well , then he tries hard to link the murder with Harvey so it doesn`t fit at all and you can`t tell fact from the red herrings .I just tend to ignore this "twist" .

Like you said about Batmans ears. Thats what I love about the book the art. The way it looks Dark.

I thought that it was good, but I didnt think that it was very good.

Its poorly paced and I didnt think that the art was very good either (something of a nitpick I know but I honestly dont think that its good [Im fine with both highly stylised art and stuff thats relativly close to real life and just features totally unrealistic body shape {everything Jim Lee's done for example}] but the style in the long halloween... I just dont like).

Hmmmm....I could argue with you but nah...

The plot was ok at least dont you think?

How can a person dont like Long Halloween?

I have not finished reading this story. I thought the art was bad, even horrendous sometimes.

Selina Kyle looks like Robert Smith from the Cure!

I liked all the designs except for Harvey and Selinas. I first read the book and thought that was Micahel Jackson. :/

That makes her even more awesome , I like the cure and love her crazy gothic hairstyle in this picture .
